What is Instant Pot Lazy Lasagna?

Lazy Lasagna- That comforting lasagna flavor in instant pot without all the prep! Unlike classic lasagna, which involves labor-intensive layer upon layer of baking, this one simply calls for breaking lasagna noodles, plus meat, sauce and cheese, straight into the Instant Pot.

Ingredients Lazy Lasagna:

  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 11 dried lasagna noodles
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 24-25 ounce jar of marinara sauce
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 ounces part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley leaves, finely chopped

How To Make Instant Pot Lazy Lasagna Recipe

Sauté the Meat and Onions:

Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top. Close the lid (not sealing) for 2-3 minutes to allow the cheese to melt from the residual heat.

  • 6 green onions, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
